Custom Rooting Service

White Rabbit Roses has sprung from its proprietors' love of roses. We are avid collectors of interesting roses, both named, well-known varieties and unknown "found" varieties. A rose is a rose is a rose to us and we love many of them, whether we know the correct name for them or not. We will be offering some of our most interesting "found" roses under our study names for them (as indicated by the notation SN after their names on our lists). We will also be offering a revolving selection of beloved, correctly labeled varieties which will be propagated from cuttings taken from our garden. Our collection is large and continues to be expanded. It is not possible for us to have every rose we grow available for sale at all times. In order to make the entire collection available to our customers, we offer a Custom Rooting Service that enables you to order anything in our collection and have it specially grown for you. This service demands some patience on your part, as we will need time after receiving your Custom Rooting Order to take cuttings and grow the rose into a well-established plant ready to ship to you. We have compiled a list of our collection (ever growing) so that you may choose varieties that you wish to have custom rooted. It contains a listing of those roses we have already propagated and which can be found in our current Catalog as well as names of the roses which we have on hand but have not started for this year. The list will continue to change as we add varieties to our collection.

We charge no special fees for requests for Custom Rooting. If you want multiple plants of any Custom Root Order, add $2 per plant for each additional plant you desire. We will ship your plant when it is robust and ready to be planted, depending on the season and your climatic zone. Plants custom-ordered during the summer and fall of 2000 will generally be ready for shipping by the spring and summer of 2001.
