One of Barbier's R. wichuraiana hybrids, this lovely rambler was introduced in 1921. Trained to a trellis, it can climb very high -- left to its own devices it forms a wide, thorny thicket about 9' high. It is a beautiful sight in full bloom with glossy foliage and satiny blooms.
